We will complete our manual typewriting module in November.

Scanning
November 11, 2008
Scanning Text using Omni Page - this allows you to scan a text document and save it as a .doc xfile or a Word file--without retyping it. There is "clean up" to do, however.

Scanning a photo - scanning a photo converts it to a digital file. Save yours as a .jpg format.

Scanning a form - you'll love this tool! Omni Form lets you scan a form that is converted to an electronic form you fill in at the keyboard. Feel free to use this for personal forms you need at any time. You can scan the form with OmniForm and then have OmniFiller on other pc's where you open the scanned form and "fill it in." Allows multiple computers the capability to complete forms--at a fraction of the software cost!

OneNote
September 3, 2008 - OneNote files are stored in the My Notebook folder in My Documents. It is advised you begin working with OneNote on one computer--moving notebook from one pc to another is possible, but not the best idea. OneNote would work ideally on a tablet pc with handwriting.
